Abstract

The paper provides a comprehensive review and analysis of modern approaches, methods and trends in digital filter design in the context of digital signal processing. The role of optimization algorithms, hardware implementations on FPGAs and ASICs, and specific requirements of individual applications in the selection and development of digital filters is investigated.
