Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

Authors' manuscripts prepared in accordance with the specified requirements are submitted using the journal's electronic editorial system to the editorial office, where the next stages of review take place.

Review of the manuscript by the journal's technical secretary regarding compliance with the registration requirements and the availability of data necessary for the further editorial process. (The duration of the stage is up to 5 working days.)
Review of the manuscript by the editor, assessment of its relevance to the magazine's theme. In the case of a positive evaluation, reviewers are selected and requests to review the manuscript are sent to them. (The duration of the stage is up to 5 working days.)
Review of the manuscript by 2 anonymous reviewers. (The duration of the stage is up to 30 calendar days).
Evaluation of the review results by the editor. Making a decision on acceptance for printing, revision or rejection of the manuscript (The duration of the stage is up to 5 working days.)
Signing of documents regarding consent to personal data processing, transfer of rights to publish the manuscript, payment of the cost of editorial costs and the object's digital identifier.

At each of these stages, the manuscript may be returned to the Authors for revision or rejected with a mandatory explanation of the reasons for such a decision. In the event of questions or misunderstandings regarding the procedure of the editorial process, the Authors have the right to contact the editorial office of the journal for relevant clarifications, which must be provided to them within 5 working days from the moment of the request.

The publication of the accepted article takes place on the electronic platform of the journal, with subsequent placement of materials also in the Scientific Periodicals section of the National Library of Ukraine named after Vernadskyi.

Periodicity of magazine issues is 2 times a year.
